1.(1)   Drug Logistic Information & Monitoring System :-

               Drug Logistics Information and Management System is developed by NIC Gujarat State Centre for the Central Medical Stores Organization. These software has been implemented. Direct Demanding Officers are sending their indent through DLIMS. Purchase orders and issues of drugs are carried out through these modules. These modules have been appreciated by Silver Award National level i.e. National Award for e-Governance in category specific sector Award: Focus Sector for the year 2008-09: Health.

(2)   Pre-dispatch testing :-

                A proposal is under consideration for the “empanelment of testing laboratories” for testing of all the batches of the drugs purchased by C.M.S.O.

(3)   Decentralization (Regional warehouse) :-

                Four regional warehouses at Amreli, Jamnagar, Patan & Surat are being commissioned so that the storage and distribution of drugs can be effectively made.  Drug deliveries in all the four regional warehouses have started. Upgradation of these regional warehouses w.r.t. storage equipments and machineries is done using NRHM fund.
