| 1. Drug Logistics Information and Management System:- |
| Drug Logistics Information and Management System is developed by NIC Gujarat State Centre for the Central Medical Stores Organization. This software has been implemented. Direct Demanding Officers are sending their indent through DLIMS. Purchase orders and issues of drugs are carried out through these modules. |
| These modules have been appreciated by Silver Award at National level i.e. National Award for e-Governance in category specific sector Award: Focus Sector for the year 2008-09 : Health. |

| 2. Pre Dispatch Testing:- |
| AS per Government Resolution No.MSP-102007-SFS-23-G.Dated08/7/2010 CMSO has implemented Pre-Dispatch Testing System from 01/8/2010 with assistance of Baroda Drug Laboratory, Baroda. According to the said Resolution CMSO has to achieve 100% pre-dispatch testing of drugs procurement in three years. In case of failed sample reports, action against defaulter is taken as per prevalent rules and provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940. |

| 3. Decentralization (Regional Warehouses) |
| Besides 4 regional depots at Amreli, Surat, Jamnagar and Patan, 6 Other regional depots at Bhuj, Bharuch (Rajpipala), Valsad , Himmatnagar and Godhara have been proposed to strengthen, speedup and make efficient the procurement process in the year 2012-13. |
