At the outset,  approval of  Blue Plan is the basic requirements for obtaining Licences to manufacture Allopathic drugs.  A Blue print Plan in 4 copies is to be submitted for approval  alongwith a challan of Rs.100/-.  The Blue Print Plan varies according to the requirements of different categories of drugs proposed to be manufactured. However,  the minimum requirements  of rooms  are  as under:
a) Manufacturing Area

b) Raw material Store room.

c) Packing store room.

d) Finished product store room.

e) Workers room.

The requirements of rooms and its areas varies according to the number of categories of products proposed to be manufactured as per the prevailing policy..
